Jenson takes to the streets of Dublin

Jenson Button and the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team will bring Formula 1 to the streets of Dublin as part of the Bavaria City Racing event this Sunday, June 3.

A similar event in Budapest arranged by Vodafone Hungary recently proved extremely popular, and the Bavaria City Racing demonstration in Dublin is expected to attract over 150,000 fans. Jenson will drive his Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 car along a specially constructed course in the heart of the city.

The route begins on the south bank of the River Liffey by O’Connell Bridge, looping around College Green and along Burgh Quay before crossing the river at Butt Bridge. Over 95 per cent of the course is free to access for spectators, and tickets are available for grandstands at O’Connell Bridge and Custom House Quay as well as the F1 Paddock zone.

As a bonus, Vodafone Ireland will have a Fanzone featuring Pit Stop Challenges, Helmet Simulators, Racing Simulators, displays of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes racewear, and much more. You’ll find it at the CHQ Building, George's Dock.

The Fanzone is open from 10am until 6pm, while the Bavaria City Racing demonstration runs from 12pm to 5pm. Don’t miss it!
