Silverstone, Spa, Monza... this is going to be good.

McLaren Shadow drivers James Baldwin and Dani Moreno are ready for another round of F1 Esports, taking on the mightiest of tracks on the calendar.

Before we take to the sims, here's everything you need to know ahead of Round Three.

"It's time for me and Dani to get some big results for Mclaren Shadow."

Dani Moreno, Driver

"Round Three is going to be challenging. The fact that it is the smallest time gap between rounds means that practice time has been limited. I think this actually benefits us, as the need for raw talent is more important than ever.

"We're racing three historical tracks, really well known by everyone. It's going to be close. I'm looking forward to it!"

Benjamin Daly, Team Principal

"This is going to be a highly entertaining round of the F1 Esports Pro Series. In the championship's history, we’ve not had such a quick turnaround between rounds so maximising those limited practice sessions is key.

"Not every driver will be able to get 100% dialled in to every circuit under all conditions/scenarios, so this is where the depth of McLaren Shadow and the academy team will come in handy - filling those gaps of information.

"All three tracks will be great for overtaking if you’re up the front, but I suspect the DRS trains will be huge at all of the circuits. If you’re in the mid-pack it could be quite easy to get bogged down in all the traffic.

"Dani and James have shown great pace and their confidence is growing, so hopefully they can string together some good races. We need to be in the best possible position to be in with a chance of climbing our way up the Constructors Championship heading into the final round.

"It’s so close right now, we’re only 10 points away from Williams in P5. Anything is possible."

The Analysis

McLaren Shadow had a solid performance in Round Two – including an incredibly impressive drive from Dani in Canada where he made his way through the grid to earn a career best P5 and Driver of the Day – the Shadow team have been working hard to take that momentum into Round Three.

Splunk’s telemetry data enables us to take a look at some of the challenges facing the drivers as they head to Silverstone, Spa and Monza:

Silverstone: McLaren’s home race, whether real or virtual, is a special place. The 3.66-mile long circuit is full of legendary corners. Over two thirds of the lap is spent at full throttle and the longest flat out section of the track – Hangar Straight – sees the drivers push 200 mph. There are couple of heavy braking points too, as the drivers enter the Village, Brookland, Stowe and Club corners.

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps: This 4.32-mile circuit is another fan favourite. Cars will reach speeds of over 200 mph through Eau Rouge with 60% of the lap spent on full throttle. Spa is one of the fastest tracks on the calendar with drivers averaging nearly 150 mph.

Autodromo Nazionale di Monza: Monza is the fastest race on the F1 calendar. Drivers will spend nearly 80% of the lap on full throttle. Just six heavy braking points ahead of three chicanes (1 Variante, 2 Variante and Ascari) and the Lesmo and Parabolica curves, Monza will one of the quickest races in the 2020 F1 Esports Pro Series.
