
2023 Formula E calendar confirmed
The NEOM McLaren FE Team will debut in season nine, which is set to be FE's largest-ever calendar
The NEOM McLaren Formula E Team will make its debut in Mexico City on 14 January, 2023 following the announcement of the calendar for season nine.
Comprising 17 races in 11 different countries, Formula E's largest-ever calendar has been ratified by the FIA World Motor Sport Council, with two locations yet to be confirmed. There will be three all-new events on the calendar, with Hyderabad, Cape Town and Sao Paulo hosting FE races for the first time.
Mexico replaces Saudi Arabia as the season opener on 14 January. Saudi Arabia remains on the calendar, with a double-header in Diriyah taking place 27-28 January.
From here, FE will travel to three new destinations, starting with Hyderabad, India for the fourth round of the season on 11 February.

Round 5 will then take place in Cape Town, South Africa for the first time (25 February) before a month's break. The season will resume in Sao Paulo with Brazil hosting its first FE event on 25 March.
We will then head to Europe for a German double-header in Berlin (22-23 April) and the Monaco E-Prix on 6 May. A double-header in Indonesia at Jakarta (3-4 June) is followed by Portland on 24 June.
Rome will host two rounds in Italy on 15-16 July before a season-ending double-header in the United Kingdom, with the London E-Prix wrapping up the year on 29-30 July.
