Logitech G announces European qualifying rounds on Project Cars 2
McLaren Shadow Project and Logitech G are excited to announce the Logitech G Challenge in Europe with online qualifying sessions across the region.
Between the end of September and early October, Logitech G will host three qualifying rounds open to all racers and esports enthusiasts across Europe*.
The competition will take place on multiple platforms using Project Cars 2, and offers the opportunity to win prizes at each stage of the competition including Logitech G Ready to Race bundles or a place in the Logitech G Challenge Final hosted at Paris Games week (26th – 28th October 2018).
If you become the G Challenge Champion you win entry into the McLaren Shadow Project semi-finals, which will be hosted at the McLaren Technology Centre in November.
The qualifying rounds will be in time trial format with the leaderboard structured for the top 20 racers. The rounds will be played over three circuits: the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Silverstone, and Hockenheimring.

To compete, there’s no limit to the number of laps you can complete in each round, and your fastest lap will be what's used to qualify for the leaderboard. Points will be awarded for each round, and once the final round is complete, the three top racers with the most points will be entered into the Logitech G Challenge Final.
All three qualifiers will participate in the Logitech G Challenge Finals over a two-day period – plus in total five wild card entries, one of these opportunities made available from Friday 26th - Saturday 27th October at Paris Games week. In this stage of the competition, eight finalists will compete across other in three races each running for 20 - 30 minutes, racing against each other on the simulator rigs.
Finally, the Logitech G Challenge champion will go on to compete in the McLaren Shadow Project Semi Final in Woking, UK on Saturday 1 December. Competing for the chance to win a place on our esports team and access to the esports development programme.
