Welcome to the official website of McLaren Racing, home to the McLaren Formula 1, INDYCAR, Formula E, Extreme E and esports teams.
In 1963, Bruce McLaren founded the McLaren team. We contested our first Formula 1 race in 1966 and won our first F1 grand prix in Belgium in 1968. Since then, we’ve won 183 Formula 1 grands prix and 20 world championships, with champion drivers Emerson Fittipaldi, James Hunt, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen and Lewis Hamilton.
To this day, the McLaren team still inhabits the rich values set forth by Bruce McLaren himself: pragmatism, humility and a solid belief in the strength of teamwork and the value of good, honest engineering.
McLaren Formula 1 will race with Mercedes-Benz power in the 2023 season, bringing F1’s most renowned hybrid engine to the 2023 challenger - the MCL37.
