McLaren and SAP host exclusive event at SAP HQ
Ahead of last week’s German Grand Prix, McLaren-Honda driver, Jenson Button and McLaren Technology Group Chief Information Officer, Craig Charlton took to the stage at SAP’s Walldorf headquarters.
In an event attended by over 800 SAP employees, Jenson and Craig were joined by SAP’s Head of Global Sponsorships, Bjoern Ganzhorn to talk about the long-standing partnership.
The employee engagement event was followed by an exclusive webcast, where Craig gave key insights into how McLaren’s journey with SAP has created effective and successful results in our IT infrastructure, big data analytics and recruitment processes.
Craig spoke of the cloud based eco-system as the future, and McLaren’s journey of Digital transformation, a subject firmly on every CIO’s agenda, which is being supported by SAP.
Craig also spoke of how SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud McLaren has industry grade solutions at a fraction of the capital investment, and the impact of Success Factors in transforming McLaren’s recruitment process, enabling tracking of candidates in real time for rapid insights in the increasingly competitive war for talent.
