Silverstone. I used to live there and got married in the village church so it feels like going home.
FIRST McLAREN MEMORY?
Senna winning at Donnington in 1993.
BEST McLAREN MEMORY?
It will be when we're on the podium again.
FAVOURITE RACE IN McLAREN HISTORY?
Canada 2011, an amazing win by JB and the team.
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR THREE F1 TRAVEL ESSENTIALS?
Laptop, passport, money – without any one of those it’s going to be stressful!
BEST PART OF YOUR JOB?
Seeing ideas and conversations go through simulation, design and production to become parts that make the car faster. It’s extremely rewarding when that process works..

Fernando because of his passion to win again.

Have fun outdoors with my two young daughters and train for my next half-Ironman triathlon.

I once missed a bus home as a kid so I jumped on a coal train as it was loading up at the pit and jumped off again near my village – don’t try this at home kids!

A good Johnnie Walker Scotch (double) with just a little ice.
IF I WASN’T WORKING IN FORMULA 1, I WOULD BE….
...A pilot. My first love was aircraft and I studied aerospace engineering at university before motorsport got me hooked.
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB?
Digging ditches as a summer job. A friend called me Dig A Ditch Rich and the nickname Digger has stuck to this day whenever I go home to South Yorkshire.
