McLaren Applied Technologies has appointed Celia Gaffney as chief operating officer (COO) to continue to scale-up the company’s operations. Celia will be based at the company’s world-famous McLaren Technology Centre, with her role also including operational oversight of the company’s operations in the US and Singapore.
Celia will report to CEO Ian Rhodes and work alongside McLaren Applied Technologies’ established senior leadership team. Her role will guide the continuation of the company’s proven effectiveness in delivering life improving solutions through data-led design of high performance products and processes across motorsport, automotive, public transport and health.
Celia’s appointment to McLaren Applied Technologies, the rapidly growing technology arm of McLaren Technology Group, coincides with the Group’s continued investment to drive the development of new products and solutions.
Celia brings to McLaren her extensive experience in operations delivery, client management and development of collaborative programmes between leading industry partners. She previously worked in managing director and senior operations director roles for global companies including IBM, Atos Origin and KPMG.
