Sponsorship is a highly successful part of HUGO BOSS. The Group's arts sponsorship programs infuse the HUGO BOSS brands with the same aesthetic appeal, broad-mindedness and innovative spirit ascribed to the arts themselves. The sports sponsorship activities invest the BOSS core brand with an aura of success, fascination and dynamism.
Part of this integrated sponsorship programme is the Partnership with McLaren in the Formula 1 World Championship which first began in 1981 and is now the longest sponsorship in sporting history. As part of the agreement, the company outfits the entire team in tailor-made and specially designed functional apparel. Furthermore, BOSS also design and provide clothing for employees who work in the manufacturing and assembly areas at the McLaren Technology Centre, the Headquarters for the McLaren Group where both the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren operations are based.
