Andy Myers is the Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Board Director of McLaren Technology Group.
Andy graduated from Nottingham University in 1986 with a BEng in Production Engineering and Production Management. He spent the next 7 years with KPMG qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and working extensively on Corporate Recovery projects as well as Audit.
He joined Rover Group in 1993, initially in internal audit, but then took on the Finance Director role in a new joint venture in Bulgaria. On his return to the UK he was promoted to Finance Director at the Rover Oxford Plant. Here he spent 3 years in the business creating a continuous improvement team to drive plant productivity, redeveloping the Oxford site and launching the Rover 75.
In 2000 he joined Rolls Royce Plc as Finance Director of the Combustion Business Unit. Two years later he was promoted to CFO of the Energy Sector, based in Washington DC. This multisite global business designed, produced and serviced compression and power generation equipment for the global oil and gas and power generation industries. During his tenure the business went through significant change, re-structuring of the business and a cost reduction process resulting in a turnaround of the Energy Sector performance.
Andy joined McLaren Technology Group Ltd as Chief Financial Officer in 2004 and is responsible for Finance, IT and Strategic Procurement. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Berkeley Holdings Group plc, a FTSE100 company.
