Industry award for McLaren Production Centre Partner

It’s only six months since the McLaren Production Centre (MPC) was officially opened by the UK Prime Minister David Cameron, but the standards of excellence set by this remarkable building are already receiving official recognition.

At The Tile Association awards ceremony held at the Birmingham Metropole on April 21, the work of our partner Avantgarde Tiling received two major awards. The Tile Association is the body representing the UK’s entire wall and floor tiling industry and its customers, and its annual awards are the most prestigious prizes the industry can bestow.

The McLaren Production Centre earned the Best use of tile in the Private Sector award, which is a testament to Avantgarde’s high-quality approach; if laid end-to-end, the quantity of Pastorelli tiles required in the MPC would stretch from our base in Woking all the way to our showroom at One Hyde Park in central London.

Avantgarde Tiling’s work on the MPC and other projects also earned the Excellence in Tile Contracting award, which recognises consistently high technical standards and customer service.
