Yamazaki Mazak’s UK HQ in Worcester is the most advanced of its type in Europe, providing high-tech manufacturing systems to customers in 30 countries, which are used to produce items as diverse as contact lens moulds and jet engine parts to sub-sea equipment for the oil industry.
As Official Supplier to Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, Yamazaki Mazak has helped develop the team’s manufacturing workshop of 18 high-tech machine tools, which are used 24 hours a day, seven days a week to create components for the MP4-28 race cars.
