McLaren fans take to the track in 'Race against McLaren'
McLaren fans took the opportunity to pit their karting skills against each other in the latest event from Team McLaren.
Held on Sunday 16th June at the Daytona International Circuit in Milton Keynes, 'Race against McLaren' consisted of a three-hour karting race during which, teams of six laid some rubber and devised their winning race strategies in a bid to take the inaugural 'Race Against McLaren' crown.
Also competing was the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes test and development driver Oliver Turvey, who tackled the wet conditions of the Milton Keynes track.
The drivers then got a chance to ask the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes personnel their questions in a 'Meet the Team Q&A' and representatives from the team’s mechanics, technicians and designers were on hand to answer any other queries while the racing action was underway.
The day concluded with the traditional trophy presentation conducted by Oliver himself.
'Race against McLaren' is the latest in a long line of unique events organised specifically for Team McLaren members.
